Ice Kid is number one DJ

Veteran DJ Ice Kid beat DJ Pitbull, winning the first ever Heineken Green Synergy DJ Competition held at the Iguana Nightclub in Villa, last Saturday October 9. {{more}}

With the large crowd anticipating high energy performances from both DJs, Ice Kid used his experience and his trademark routine “take off your shirt” performance to get the judges’ nod and capture the grand prize of a trip to Antigua to compete in the O.E.C.S Heineken Green Synergy DJ Competition.

“I want to thank the St Vincent Brewery Limited and Heineken for giving me this opportunity; also all my fans who turned out” said the victorious Ice Kid. “I’m looking forward to representing my country in Antigua and being crowned O.E.C.S champion.”

The Heineken Green Synergy DJ Competition started back in August with its first show featuring fifteen DJs and was won by DJ Pitbull. After two shows and twenty competitors, it was down to DJ Ice Kid and DJ Pitbull.

Ice Kid will go to Antigua to represent St Vincent and the Grenadines at the Heineken Green Synergy Competition on October 23, 2004.
