Your wants were very few
And you hardly ever burdened us
With the things that troubled you.
You were always there for each of us
A firm foundation through the storms of life
A sturdy hand to hold on to
In times of stress and strife

The fact that you’re no longer here
Will always cause us pain
But you’re forever in our hearts
Until we meet again.
