Cecil Clifton Browne

The family of the late Mr Cecil Clifton Browne, also known as ‘Good Hope’ of Lodge Village who departed this life on 24th March, 2014 wishes to express heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the outpouring of love and expressions of condolences during its recent bereavement.

Special thanks to all those who sent cards, wreaths, telephoned, e-mailed, prayed with us, visited attended the funeral, and in any other way sympathised with us.

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free

I’m following the path God has chosen for me.

I took His hand when I heard him call;

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way;

I’ve now found peace at the end of day.

My life’s been full, I savoured much;
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seems all too brief;

Don’t lengthen your pain with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and peace to thee,
God wanted me now –

He set me free

Lovingly remembered by your children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
