Death Announcement
Shirley Eugena Joseph née Parris of Los Angeles, California and formally of La Croix, passed away on 14th June 2010 in Los Angeles, California at age 52.
She is survived by her mother Rita Parris, sons Colin Mayers and Omari Joseph, and three grandchildren all residing in California.
Shirley was a devoted member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Calder and a student of the Girlsâ High School before migrating to Canada and then to the USA. She maintained her devotion to the SDA Church at Normandie, where she served in many positions and was employed at the UCLA Medical Centre for 18 years.
She was laid to rest on Friday, 25th June, 2010, at Inglewood Cemetary in Los Angles, following a service at the Normandie SDA Church. She will be missed by many relatives and friends including Janelle Jack, a cousin, and Cynthia Lucas, her God-mother, both of St. Vincent & the Grenadines.
