NEVER let anyone determine YOUR vision about your future

This week I thought I’d reach out to all of you wonderful graduates out there, It doesn’t matter if your are from high school, community college or university – let me wish you ALL a hearty congratulation on this huge milestone thus far. You should be very proud of yourselves !

So now that you’ve accomplished this great feat, what next? Some of you may already have a 5 – 10 year plan regarding where you’d like to be career wise and I am totally tipping my hat to you for your focus and drive.

But what about those of you who are now a bit overwhelmed about your next steps? Do not be afraid and let it cripple you, this is quite normal! Have you thought about creating a vision board about the little and big things you’d like to achieve? Maybe it is continuing your education, learning a trade, finding a job, traveling, or even settling down in a long-term relationship? There are so many options out there, no two choices or decisions will be the same, you will have to do what is best for you.

Please note that life never comes in a neat bundle and there are MANY detours out there, but it’s the grace in which you can side step, or even overcome these obstacles that will show how strong you are and how you can persevere through your challenges. NEVER let anyone determine YOUR vision about your future. Sometimes you may have a unique way of looking at life and it may be difficult to bring people on board initially. Never mind that, create a strategy and start hacking away at it (or grinding) until your vision is realized for all to see. Another side note I should mention is that finding a mentor, or someone with a sound approach, is always great to have on your side as well.

I wish you ALL peace, prosperity, vision, inclusion, success, drive and fairness as you navigate your next chapter in life. It is indeed a wonderful life, never lose sight of that. All the best again and here’s to your bright futures ahead!
