WAOAD: Warfare against

WAOAD is an aerobics work out using two swords made from board and it has 15 fighting moves that work on the entire body, burn calories, shape and tones the body. WAOAD was originated by Allan Hanson, an International Sport Science Association (ISSA) Youth Fitness Training and founder of Handsome Fitness and Nutrition. It was originated mainly to help obesed kids and teens to get fit and have fun. It is also available to adults and older adults. Swords can be between 20 and 23 inches long. Diabetes is one of the leading causes of death in St. Vincent and the Caribbean as a whole. Obesity is fast becoming an epidemic in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the Caribbean and the youths are the ones who suffer most, because of parents who are too busy, hours around the TV, junk food and lack of well trained and certified trainers, and P.E. teachers, also too many parents force their children to do things the parents love but not what the child loves. Fitness and Nutrition must be the foundation of any one who wants to excel in sport, you can’t put the cart before the horse. Let it be known that Body builders are intelligent people and must not be looked at as self-centered people. Body builders should be allowed to speak in schools and be role models. I believe they are more disciplined people than the beauty pageants.

Who is Allan Hanson?

Allan Hanson is well known as a Former National body builder, best poser and best shaped body builder in St. Vincent in his competitive years of 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994. Also Elka Patterson and Hanson were known for their couple posing and second place in the OECS 1994. He left the competitive scene in 1995 to follow his spiritual destiny as a servant of God, but his love for Fitness and Nutrition continued with the reading of Fitness and Nutrition books and staying in shape with gallon bottles of water.
