Man shot in his vehicle on his way home

Ezekiel ‘Thirteens’ Robin, a Fairhall man, escaped with his life last Saturday evening when a gunman opened fire on him, striking him twice on his upper body.

Robin, who is originally from Clare Valley, was shot at Fairhall at around 8 p.m., while making his way home.

Reports are that a man, wearing a hat, shot Robin in his chest and left arm. Both bullets penetrated Robin’s flesh and exited his body.

He managed to drive himself to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH), but not before the gunman chased the car on foot and fired six more shots, a number of them hitting the vehicle.

Police are investigating.
