Hundreds turn out for Obstacle Colour Run

Scrambling over wooden pallets, climbing a wall with ropes, going up and down a water slide, walking through a foam pit and crawling like an alligator on the beach are just a few of the obstacles patrons had to face at this year’s Obstacle Colour Run.

The run, held August 1, was organized by Keyon Constance of Islandwide Fitness and saw persons making their way from the Richmond Hill playing field, via Kingstown

Hill, down Roseau, through the ET Joshua Airport, up through Cane Hall, down on the Arnos Vale stretch, up to Indian Bay and over to Villa beach then onto SOV, where the course ended.

At SOV, participants were then engaged in a warm-down session, hosted by Gary Constantine of Constant Fitness, Kevin Young of KY Fitness and Lindon James of the Be Fit Movement.

Although it seemed like more, organizers say over 900 persons came out on Tuesday morning to either run or walk in the Obstacle Colour Run.
