Air Canada Rouge to fly to Argyle International Airport from December 14, 2017

St Vincent and the Grenadines, with its new Argyle International Airport (AIA), has been listed as one of the new routes for the winter 2017-2018 schedule for Air Canada Rouge.

In a press release dated May 3rd, on the airline’s website, it was announced that as part of the expansion of their international flights, six new routes were added for the winter season, among which St Vincent and the Grenadines is listed.

“Air Canada is continuing its strategies and global expansion with a diverse range of exciting new non-stop routes this winter, to Australia, South America, the Caribbean and the United States,” Benjamin Smith, president, Passenger Airlines at Air Canada said in the release.

The other routes added are Vancouver to Melbourne and Orlando, Montreal to Lima and Phoenix and Toronto to Belize.

Flights from Toronto to St Vincent will commence on December 14, 2017 and end on April 12th 2018.

Air Canada Rouge is the second international airline offering direct flights to and from the Argyle International Airport since its opening on February 14, 2017.

On April 14, 2017, Caribbean Airlines made its first scheduled flight to AIA from John F Kennedy Airport in New York.
