Six beauties to contest Miss Easterval 2016

Six delegates from different islands will take part in the Miss Easterval Pageant, which will be held on Saturday, March 26, at the Ashton Hard Court in Union Island.

Carine Charles – Miss Carriacou; Janella Osmet – Miss St Vincent; Justice Carrington – Miss Trinidad; Makeba Roberts – Miss Grenada;{{more}} Mirah Greenidge – Miss Barbados and Vernice Simon – Miss Union Island will vie for the title in a show that is slated to begin at 9 p.m.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Union Island Easterval celebrations, an initiative of the Union Island Easterval Committee.

Celebrations this year run from March 20 to 28 and include nine days of non-stop activities, including Cultural Activities, Food and Drinks Exhibition, The Miss Easterval & Miss Easterval Teen Pageant, Sporting Activities and the J’Ouvert and Monday Night Mas.

The Miss Easterval Teen Pageant will be held on Thursday, March 24, also at the Ashton Hard Court, from 7 p.m.

The contestants in that show are: Aliah Forde – Miss Mayreau; Arianna Wyllie– Miss Canouan; Biancia Nanton – Miss Palm Island; Sahera Stewart – Miss Carriacou; Roshana James – Miss Tobago Cays; Summer Cayenne – Miss Union Island.
