Green Hill family offering reward for safe return of cat

A Green Hill family is offering a reward of EC$300 for the safe return of their black cat, which was taken from their home on March 2.

A member of the family said early last Wednesday between 2 and 5 a.m. someone took the “big, beautiful, but overweight black cat” that was peacefully sleeping on the rug {{more}}in front of the door.

According to the family, the next night between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m. someone came again and brutally killed their other cat, by crushing her skull and pulling her head from her body.

The family believes that the black cat may still be alive.

“If anyone else in the area has had their cat taken or has similar cat problems, please let us know. If anyone gives us any information leading to the return of our black cat, we will pay a reward of EC$300. Please, call 453-1521,” a release from the family said.

“Help us bring closure to whatever happened to our missing black cat. Show that Vincentians do care about animals. Stop cruelty to animals.”
