CDC honours Mas man

Moments before his production took the 2010 King of the Band title, veteran mas man Junior ‘Melbourne’ Constance was recognized by the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) for his contribution to the art form.{{more}}

The mas man, who has been in the profession for 40 years, was lauded by the CDC for his work with and the training of up and coming mas men and women.

He is considered one of the best wire benders by other persons in the profession, and although he has yet to claim the Band of the Year title, he has garnered a number or titles along the way.

Constance was presented with a plaque by Minister of Culture René Baptiste for his efforts over the years.
