Thomas wins sports award

For the second consecutive year, SEARCHLIGHT’s Rohan Thomas has won the award for being the most outstanding Sports Journalist.{{more}}

Thomas was given the nod at the National Sports Awards held last Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Arnos Vale Playing Field.

Thomas, a sports journalist of 11 years and a teacher at the C.W. Prescod Primary School, won the award for the Best Sports Story in 2004 and repeated the feat in 2005.

SEARCHLIGHT congratulates Thomas on his stellar achievement and wishes him continued success in the years to come.
