Man suspected of having

A 54-year-old Canouan man was expected to be charged yesterday (Thursday) for sexually assaulting a seven-year-old girl.{{more}}

At press time (Wednesday), Police had reportedly received a doctor’s report, and were continuing investigation into an incident that reportedly took place last Saturday afternoon.

A reliable police source told SEARCHLIGHT that the man in question was picked up last Saturday, but had to be released because there wasn’t enough evidence at that time to charge him with an offence.
