Guadeloupe, Vincentian men on ammo charge

Last Saturday, April 15, 32-year-old fisherman, Vikki Alexander and Rudolph Alexander both of Union Island and Celini Vivian and Kasier John of Guadeloupe were arrested and jointly charged for having in their possession forty-nine (49) rounds of shot gun cartridges without a licence, at Owia at about 6:40 p.m. last Saturday.

They appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Tuesday and Vikki Alexander pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years. The other defendants pleaded not guilty and were remanded at Her Majesty’s Prison. They were scheduled to reappear in court yesterday.
