MAS AGLOW

Wednesday’s version of the 2004 carnival festivities appeared amidst an unusual glow.
It was a session in which patrons were encouraged to wear white to create the glow effect, while the appropriate lighting provided a soothing, somewhat romantic look. {{more}}
The feature caught on in its introduction to Vincentian shores and was enhanced by the bevy of regional beauties gathered for the Miss Carival Pageant slated for tonight. The atmosphere exuded a measure of relaxed Caribbeanness.
The packed cast included Bunji Garlin, Onika, Denise Belfon, representing the foreign artistes, while the local contingent featured Luta, Cornelius ‘Poorsah’ Williams (reigning road march champion), Cecile ‘Lil Bit’ Murray, and the Roses Crew.
The show highlighted local bands HS Phaktor, and Signal. The show was a first time for the CDC working in partnership with Sky Studios and Island Style out of Trinidad and Tobago. Island Style owns the Glow concept.
