Vincentians Kenrick Kevin John and Keron Andre Walters have found themselves in trouble in neighbouring Barbados.

John, 25 and Walters, 32, along with 36-year-old Barbadian Delon Covelle Asgill, of 14th Avenue, West Terrace, St James, are charged that on Sunday, January 14, they had cannabis within the territorial waters of Barbados; they had it with intent to supply; and they trafficked cannabis within the territorial waters of Barbados and imported the illegal substance.

It is alleged that the trio was found with 15 polythene bags and two taped packages containing 768.24 pounds of cannabis about 11.8 nautical miles off the Cement Plant, Checker Hall, St Lucy.

The men appeared at the Holetown Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday and were remanded to prison by magistrate Wanda Blair.
