Upper Cane Hall resident to answer another rum charge

On October 31, Allison Endeavour will have to explain to the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court why he had in his possession two bottles of liquor belonging to Randy’s Supermarket.

Endeavour is charged that on Friday, September 1, in Kingstown, he stole a bottle of Sparrow’s Rum, valued at $27.75 and a bottle of Sunset Very Strong Rum, valued at $28.10, the property of Randy’s Supermarket.

When he appeared at the Serious Offences Court on September 4, he pleaded not guilty and was placed on EC$1,500 bail with one surety.

The matter was transferred to the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court.

This is the second time in less than two months that Endeavour, a resident of Upper Cane Hall, has been brought before the court, charged with theft of rum.

On July 24, he was ordered by the court to pay $300, after he was caught stealing two 6 oz bottles of Sunset Very Strong Rum from Massy Stores at Arnos Vale on July 21.
