Vincentian among four on drug charges

Rose Place resident Sydney Norville has been charged with drug trafficking and possession of over 100 pounds of marijuana in Antigua and Barbuda.

On Tuesday June 27, antiguaobserver.com reported that Norville, 40, and Antiguan national Camara Swift, 33, were jointly charged with Possession of Cannabis, Being Concerned in the Supply of Cannabis, Drug Trafficking and Possession with Intent to Supply Cannabis, after being nabbed in the process of transporting 103.25lbs of marijuana in the Montrulla area of All Saints, Antigua.

According to the newspaper, the charges came following three successful operations on Friday, June 23, 2017, by the office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP).
