Three charges dismissed
Arnos Vale resident Carlos Lewis no longer has to worry about the robbery, kidnapping and attempted murder charges laid against him on March 2, 2017.
Instead, he has to thank the caseâs investigating officer, who still had the case file in his possession on Friday, June 15, 2017, when Lewis appeared before the Serious Offences Court, causing the matter to be discharged.
However, Lewis would continue to serve the five-year prison sentence handed to him this year for firearm possession.
In March when Lewis appeared before Court he was jointly charged with Alason Lampkin for attempted murder, robbery and kidnapping. Both men are now free of the charges.
Defence attorney Grant Connell represented Lewis.
