Vincentian jailed in Grenada

Vincentian national Raphael Robertson was sentenced to six months in a Grenadian prison, which would be followed by deportation.

Reports are that Robertson pleaded guilty to entering Grenada without proper documentation and causing harm to his child’s mother.

Robertson told the court that his child’s mother invited him to Grenada, although she knew he did not have his documents.

He was, however, told that it is his responsibility to ensure he has a passport.

Robertson is now serving a six-month sentence for causing harm to the child’s mother and deportation was the sentence for illegal entry.
