Charles appeared in Court last Thursday, December 15 and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison (HMP). She is expected to return to court on January 4, 2017, at which time a date will be set for the Preliminary Inquiry.

Huskinson died at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH) on Monday, December 12, after being stabbed at Rose Place between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

It is believed that the former Kingstown Anglican School teacher, who had no children, was stabbed in his chest and thrown down a flight of stairs in a dilapidated house he called home.

Huskinson was rushed to the MCMH by two of his friends after they found him unconscious at the bottom of the stairs.

Huskinson’s death was recorded as the 35th violent death for 2016.
