Owia man out on $3,000 bail for ammo possession

An Owia man will reappear before the Serious Offences Court one week from today to answer charges of illegal possession of ammunition.{{more}}

Carlos Baptiste was yesterday granted bail in the sum of $3,000, after he pleaded not guilty to having five rounds of 12 gauge ammunition.

He was also charged with having 91 rocks of cocaine in his possession, a matter which would be heard in January 2017.

Baptiste is to report to the Owia Police Station every Wednesday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

He was the second person to be brought before the court yesterday on ammunition charges.(AS)
