On Saturday, October 8, Scott was met at Diamond gap where police were conducting a routine stop and search operation. According to police, the gun and ammunition were found in his pants waist.

Scott will reappear before Serious Offences Court on October 31 to answer these charges.

Scott was ordered to report to the Calliaqua Police Station every Monday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

His arrest comes amidst a shooting incident that took place at Glen over the weekend, which left one baby dead and three adults injured.
