The Glen resident is charged that between August 28 and 30, 2015, at Villa, she entered the SVGCC and stole a proline digital safe valued at $480, one external hard drive, $150, and cash amounting to $44,278. 96, the property of the SVGCC.

She was granted bail in the sum of $50,000 with one surety and was ordered to report to the Calliaqua Police Station twice weekly. Bailey was further ordered to surrender her travel documents, and has been placed on a 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew. Stop notices have been placed at all ports of entry and exit and she is prohibited from leaving the state without the consent of the court.

Bailey joins Glen residents Kamorni Antoine and Shane Cabral, who were both charged on September 16, at the Serious Offences Court, in connection with the burglary. Antoine, 24, and Cabral 18, have also been placed on $50,000 bail with one surety and have the same bail conditions as Bailey.

Antoine, who was overseas when police issued a notice that he was a wanted man, was brought back to St Vincent and the Grenadines from Barbados by his counsel Israel Bruce, just over a week ago.

It is alleged that at the time of the theft, the vault was kept in a cupboard at the college, which was usually locked. However, reports indicate that the cupboard was not locked at the time of the heist. It has also been reported that the money stolen had been collected as registration fees from students. The matter is set for hearing on October 12. (KW)
