Vincentians remanded in Barbados on drug charges

Three Vincentians accused of drug crimes are now on remand at Her Majesty’s Prisons, Dodds in Barbados.

Jomo Jalon Jack, 30, Allison Agustus Blugh, 31, and Kevin David Christopher Joe, 28, were denied bail when they appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court last week on charges of possession,{{more}} possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.

According to police in Barbados, the three men were on a speed boat which members of the Barbados Drug Squad intercepted about four nautical miles off Mullins, St Peter, around 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1.

A bale of cannabis weighing 30 pounds was discovered and confiscated.
