Prosecution withdraws charges from four of five murder accused

Four of the five men charged with the murder of Lowmans Bay resident Nolly Jack are now free men.

At the Preliminary Inquiry at the Serious Offences Court on Wednesday, January 21, Assistant Director of Public Prosecution Colin John informed the court that he was withdrawing the charge against Curt George,{{more}} 34, mechanic; Kemron Spencer, 18, labourer; Andy Acosta, 25, labourer and Allister Roberts, 27, labourer, all of Campden Park.

Jeffery Cuffy, 25, has been left to face the charge alone.

He will return to the Serious Offences Court on February 1, 2015 when the Preliminary Inquiry will continue.

According to police reports, Jack sustained several gunshot wounds about his body at approximately 5:30 a.m. on March 25, 2014 in the Lowmans Bay area.
