Man charged with attempted murder remains on remand

While Grafton Francis Cordice has been taken off a life support machine, he remains unresponsive.

This was disclosed yesterday at the Serious Offences Court when Harold Cordice reappeared in court for bail review.{{more}}

Cordice is currently on remand for the attempted murder of his uncle, Grafton, on November 23, 2014 at Fairbaine Pasture.

It is alleged that Harold pelted a rock at Grafton, cracking open his skull, following an altercation.

Following the incident, Grafton had to be placed on life support at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

In court yesterday, senior prosecutor, Adolphus Delpesche informed the court of Grafton’s condition and noted that he was still objecting to Cordice’s bail on the ground that the victim is still warded at the hospital.

Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne-Matthias upheld Delpesche’s objection and further remanded Harold.(KW)
