St Lucian man given marching orders

Magistrate Carla James on Monday, at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court, gave St Lucian Ronald Theodore his marching orders after he came to these shores illegally.{{more}}

Theodore pleaded guilty to the charge and was ordered to be removed from the country.

According to the facts, on December 5, at about 11 p.m., members of the Rapid Response Unit were on mobile patrol in the Richmond area when they saw two men running on the beach.

The officers gave chase and both men were caught. The other man caught was a Vincentian.

When officers questioned the St Lucian, he said he came here on a boat and the captain had taken his documents and left.(KW)
