Edinboro man pleads not guilty to gun, ammo possession; granted $40,000 bail

An Edinboro man has been granted $40,000 bail after pleading not guilty to possession of two guns and a quantity of ammunition.{{more}}

Hilton Hazelwood appeared at the Serious Offences Court yesterday charged with possession of a .45 pistol and a 12 gauge shot gun. He was also charged with possession of five rounds of .45 ammunition and two rounds of 12 gauge ammunition.

He further pleaded not guilty to cultivating two plants of genus cannabis.

Police allege that the unlawful acts took place on November 15, 2014.

As part of his bail conditions, Hazelwood was ordered to surrender his travel documents.

The matter has been adjourned for hearing on November 25, 2014.
