Forestry employee charged with malicious, unlawful wounding

A technician who works in the Forestry Department appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on Monday, September 22, charged with malicious and unlawful wounding.{{more}}

Linton Straker, a Vermont resident, was charged with wounding Kevin Sandy on August 24, 2014.

Temporary magistrate Carla James set bail at $3,500 with one surety, and ordered the defendant to have no contact with the virtual complainant.

Straker, who pleaded not guilty, is expected to re-appear at the Layou Magistrate’s Court on October 1, 2014.
