Three teenagers charged in stabbing of 15-year-old student

Two more teenagers are currently in police custody, having been jointly charged with the alleged stabbing of a 15-year-old student.{{more}}

Urhando Rock, 17, a resident of Green Hill and a 15-year-old boy were taken before the Family Court on Wednesday, charged with the attempted murder of another 15-year-old student of the Dr J.P. Eustace Memorial Secondary School.

On Monday, April 1, 16-year-old Isaiah Spencer, a student of the Bishop’s College Kingstown, was the first to be charged with the alleged stabbing of the student, which occurred on March 26, at Lodge Village.

Reports are that the student is still listed in critical condition at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

He sustained stab wounds to his neck and upper back and is said to be paralysed on his right side.

SEARCHLIGHT also understands that the victim may have to seek medical attention abroad soon.

The accused teens will return to court on April 7, at which time the court will be updated on the victim’s condition and his bail will be reviewed. (KW)
