When Rogers appeared at the Serious Offences Court yesterday, he was not required to plead to the charges, which were laid indictably.

On July 6, 2013, he is accused of being armed with a gun, robbing Fitzborne Scarborough, also of New Montrose, of a cellular phone, laptop, and headphones, valued at $4,490.

He was also charged with assaulting Scarborough.

Also, on that same day, Rogers was charged with being armed with a gun, robbing Lisha Edwards of Fitz-Hughes of a cellular phone.

Rogers was ordered to surrender his travel documents and have no contact with any of the virtual complainants.

He is to report to the Central Police Station on Mondays and Fridays.

A Preliminary Inquiry into the matter is set for June 16.
