Barrouallie resident pleads not guilty to cannabis possession

Frederick Miller had already pleaded guilty to a drug charge when he changed his mind and told the court that the drug did not belong to him and that he was only holding it until the rightful owner came along.{{more}}

Chief Magistrate Sonya Young had already listened to all the facts in the matter when Miller decided that he wanted to change his plea to “not guilty.”

Miller, a resident of Barrouallie, appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Wednesday, charged with possession of 738 grams of cannabis.

The drug was allegedly found amongst a pile of clothing in a bedroom at his house.

The matter was adjourned to December 6.(KW)
