Grenadian remanded on ammo possession

Grenadian Tevin Bernard will return to court on June 12 for sentencing on ammunition possession charges.{{more}}

Bernard appeared before the Serious Offences Court on Wednesday, and pleaded guilty to possession of one round of .40 ammunition, one round of .762 ammunition, one round of .32 ammunition, two rounds of nine millimetre ammunition and one round of .38 ammunition on June 3, 2013 at Union Island.

He also was charged with entering the country illegally. He pleaded guilty to that charge.

Chief Magistrate Sonya Young adjourned sentencing to check Bernard’s criminal record in Grenada.(KW)
