Five on remand for murder of unidentified man

The five men who have been charged with the murder of an unidentified man, appeared before the Serious Offences Court on Tuesday.{{more}}

The men: Noel Franklyn, 27, a farmer of Chateaubelair/Barrouallie; Kelwyn Kel Gloster, 27, a labourer; Paul Nicholls, 32, a mason; Alistair Gould, 26, a labourer; and Bernard Barbour, 21, a labourer, were arrested and charged jointly with the murder of an unidentified man, somewhere between Morne Ronde and Wallilabou on October 8.

They were remanded in custody and a trial date was set for February 27 and 28, 2013.

The day before, four other men were also remanded in custody, after being charged with the murder of another unidentified man.

They are, Lee-I Wilkins, 30, a labourer of Edinboro; Rosano Andrews, 27, a farmer of New Montrose; Kimron Browne, 27, a farmer of Chateaubelair; and Shadrock Roban, 28, of Byera.

Their matter will be heard on February 20 and 21, 2013.
