The Walvaroo resident pleaded not guilty to having a 12-gauge shotgun in his possession and six rounds of 12-gauge cartridges on September 5, at Walvaroo.

He was not allowed to plead to the use of a 9 mm Lama pistol in the commission of an offence and having a 9mm Lama pistol with intent to injure Uroy Robertson on September 2.

Robertson, 24, was killed around 8 p.m. on September 2, receiving a single gunshot to the left side of his head, which destroyed his brain, and lodged in his right cheek.

The Preliminary Inquiry into that matter is scheduled to commence on January 30, 2013.
