Joel Erad Payne, 50; Shawn Boucher, 36; Ryan Corbin, 35; and Devon Hurdle, 38, returned to the Serious Offences Court Monday, when Prosecutor Inspector Adolphus Delpesche said he would proceed with the case by way of a Preliminary Inquiry.
Counsel for the men Grant Connell argued that the matter should proceed summarily and asked if the prosecution would accept a guilty plea.
However, that was rejected by Delpesche, who laid the matter as an indictable offence against the men.
