Kimron McDowall out on $5,000 bail

Murray’s Village resident Kimron McDowal is out on $5,000 bail after he was charged with two counts of robbery and one each for assault and threatening language.{{more}}

McDowall was brought before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, April 10, and was not able to plea to the two counts of robbery. He pleaded not guilty on the other two.

McDowall was charged with robbing Irvin Abbott of Welcome of a pair of earrings, Clarkes shoes, Snapback cap, and over $260 in cash on April 8, in Kingstown. It is alleged he used a bottle to commit the crime.

He was also charged with robbing Dorian Layne of Barrouallie, at gunpoint, of a cellular phone valued at $500 and $40, also on the same date.

McDowall pleaded not guilty to making threatening language to PC Nicholas Jeremiah at the Criminal Investigations Department. He was also charged with assaulting PC Gideon Nathan. He also pleaded not guilty to those charges.

The matter was adjourned for hearing.(KW)
