We need laws to govern the keeping of Pitbulls

Attorney Carl Williams says there needs to be laws to govern the keeping of Pitbull dogs.{{more}}

Williams was at the time speaking at the close of the criminal assizes earlier this week.

“I don’t think we have to wait until another person loses their life in a Pitbull attack; these things need to be dealt with soon.

Expanding on Williams’ point, High Court judge Frederick Bruce-Lyle said it is frightening when one goes to the beach to have a peaceful swim and encounter “these horrendous animals”.

“I don’t know how people keep them as pets. I wish the authorities would listen to Mr Carl Williams seriously and do something about it. You can’t even go for a walk in your neighbourhood with these animals let loose…,” Bruce-Lyle said.
