Magistrate grants Porter $5,000 bail

Campden Park labourer, Sylvannus Porter was granted $5,000 bail after he was charged with robbing Kiano Charles of a cellular phone with the aid of a stone.{{more}}

He appeared at the Serious Offences Court yesterday and was not allowed to plea to the charge.

Chief Magistrate Sonya Young ordered Porter to report to the Kingstown Police Station every Monday and surrender all travel documents.

The matter was adjourned to July 18 for hearing.(KW)
