Brent Hackshaw granted $5,000 bail

Questelles resident Brent Hackshaw was granted $5,000 bail after pleading not guilty to stealing several pieces of audio equipment.{{more}}

He appeared at the Serious Offences Court yesterday before Chief Magistrate Sonya Young.

It is alleged that between January 11-12, 2012, Hackshaw stole the equipment belonging to Quinton Charles of Campden Park.

The equipment is valued at $1,400.

On January 12, Hackshaw is alleged to have been found with two external hard drives, memory cards, a military bag, camcorder batteries and other appliances, reasonably suspected of being stolen or unlawfully obtained.

He pleaded not guilty.

The matter was transferred to the Kingstown Magistrates’ Court for hearing on May 8.(KW)
