On Monday, January 9, at the Serious Offences Court, Chief Magistrate Sonya Young committed Wilson to the High Court to stand trial after hearing seven prosecution witnesses.

Wilson, 36, was also committed to stand trial for the attempted murder of Vasilka Maloney.

Daniel, 33, mother of three, succumbed to a single stab wound to her neck on Sunday, August 14, 2011, at Greiggs.

Maloney, who was also there when the killing took place, suffered a stab wound to her head from the knife of Daniel’s alleged killer.

It is alleged that Daniel was attacked and stabbed by her former lover shortly after 4:00 pm.

Wilson had no legal representation in the matter and did not cross-examine any of the witnesses.
