Collins charged with causing “Chronic’s” death

A 21-year-old labourer of Simon has been charged with causing the death of Seraft ‘Chronic’ Trumpet of Long Wall/ Cane Garden.{{more}}

Appearing at the Serious Offences Court on a charge of Manslaughter on Thursday, November 17, Jeffery Collins was released on $30,000 bail, with one surety.

It is alleged that an altercation between both men led to Trumpet’s death on November 15, 2011, at Lower Bay Street, opposite the Bay View Car Park.

Trumpet succumbed to a single stab wound to his chest.

The matter is adjourned to April 11, 2012.
