Three charged for murder of Isaacs

Three young men, one from Edinboro and two from Chateaubelair, have been charged for the murder of Rasco ‘Ren’ Isaacs.{{more}}

Jamal Layne of Edinboro, along with Terrance Isaacs and Darren Matthews of Chateubelair were brought before the Serious Offences Court on Tuesday, October 11, and were remanded in custody.

Family members of the accused gathered just outside the courthouse, drew close to the police transport in which the men were seated, and encouraged them to “Keep all yo head up. God don’t sleep.”

The deceased man, 18, of Sharpes, Chateaubelair, met his death on October 3, 2011, after he was shot in the head while sitting in the doorway of a house.

The preliminary inquiry into the matter will be held on March 1, 2012.
