Police make breakthrough in Shawn Gordon murder case

After close to a year of investigations, police have made a breakthrough in the murder investigations of CD vendor Shawn Gordon of Rillan Hill.{{more}}

Edinboro resident Jomo Brudy, 24, and Devron St John of Ottley Hall were hauled before the Serious Offences Court on Wednesday, October 12, to answer to the indictable charge of murder.

Gordon, who was 28 when he was killed, was discovered face down with a gunshot wound to the left side of his head in an area known as Neverson Gap, Edinboro, at 9:15 p.m. on Sunday, December 19, 2010.

Attorney Grant Connell represents accused Brudy, while St John is unrepresented.

The matter was adjourned to March 12, 2012, for hearing. Both men were remanded in custody.
