Another 50 charges are expected to be laid against public servant Stacia Aberdeen, who is presently already on bail in relation to 54 charges of theft and falsifying receipts which have been brought against her.{{more}}

Aberdeen, 24, an employee of the Inland Revenue Department, is accused of misappropriation of government funds, alleged to be in excess of $100,000.

When she appeared before Senior Magistrate Donald Browne in August, he granted her $40,000 bail, despite strong objection from the prosecution that she might be a flight risk.

In addition to the $40,000 bail, Aberdeen had to surrender her travel documents and is required to report to the Central Police Station on Mondays and Fridays. She was also ordered not to leave the state without the Court’s permission.
