Vincy man remanded to prison in Grenada

A 35-year-old Vincentian national has been remanded to prison in Grenada, after being charged with a number of criminal offences, including a foiled attempt to break into the Criminal Records Office of the Royal Grenada Police Force on September 1, 2011.{{more}}

The ‘What’s Up Caribbean’ website said Lennox Browne, who appeared before the St. George’s Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 5, has been charged with 2 counts of housebreaking and stealing in relation to offences committed at the Grenada Scout Association Building, at Young Street and the Museum Bisro Restaurant, Young Street.

He is also charged with housebreaking relative to an offence committed at the Administrative Department of the T.A. Marryshow Community College, and attempt to commit a crime to wit housebreaking in relation to the attempted break-in at the Criminal Records Office.

Brown will reappear in court on September 12, 2011.
