Long Wall man pleads not guilty – on $150,000 bail

Long Wall resident, Alville Glenford Herbert was granted $150,000 bail, after pleading not guilty to possession of 648 pounds of cannabis.{{more}}

Herbert appeared before Chief Magistrate Sonya Young, at the Serious Offences Court on Tuesday, August 9.

It is alleged that the 38-year-old mechanic was in possesion of the drug at Hackshaw Bay, on July 30, 2011.

He was ordered to report to the Central Police Station everyday and surrender his travel documents.

The matter was adjourned to December 15, 2011 for hearing.
