Police in Dominica are still on the hunt for a Vincentian man who escaped the Stockfarm Prison in Dominica since December, last year.{{more}}

According to an article from the Dominican News Online, dated December 6, 2010, Bert Williams 24, escaped while playing basketball with other inmates.

On Monday, January 17, 2011, police in Dominica confirmed to SEARCHLIGHT that they are still searching for Williams, whom they consider armed and dangerous.

According to the news report, Williams was charged with two other Dominicans in connection with a burglary at Greens Supermarket in Loubiere.

Williams, along with Martin Luther Jno Baptiste of Newtown, appeared before Magistrate Candia George on November 24, 2010, on a joint charge of burglary, while Eustace Joseph of Point Michel was charged with handling stolen goods.

It is alleged that Williams and Jno Baptiste entered as trespassers and stole $17,130 in cash, $638.45 worth of groceries and a cell phone valued at $150 between 10:30 p.m. on November 19 and 3:30 p.m. on November 20, 2010.(KW)
